Pre-match analysis predicted a difficult match for the Community Darks and the boys responded with a classy performance, running out 11-4 winners. The Darks defense was in fine form in the first half, ensuring that stand-in keeper Daniel Sanders hardly had to make a save. In the attacking third of the field the Darks were equally impressive and a 5-0 lead was secured by halftime. After taking their foot off the pedal and conceding some early goals in the second, the Darks finished the game at a stroll. It was the perfect way to end the session and secure second seed for the placement tournament which takes place Wednesday, September 16 at the Mockingbird Arena.
