The Community Darks returned to their winning ways with a comfortable win over El Jimador. The full squad was present, and a fresh, rested team took the pitch confidently to dispatch their opponents with ease. The Darks started brightly and a 8-0 first half lead was established. The goals were too fast and furious for this reporter to recount, but the fluidity of that attack and the solidity of the defense was something to behold. The Darks took their foot off the gas in the second half, but the result was never in doubt as a 11-4 win was secured with panache. This thumping win was tonic to the loyal Darks supporters who were still smarting from last week’s disappointing loss.
